Center for Archaeology of the Pre-Islamic East
The Center for Archaeology of the Pre-Islamic East is one of the youngest scientific structures of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The activities of the Center's staff are carried out within the framework of three comprehensive academic programs of fundamental scientific research of the Russian Academy of Sciences:
- Patterns of historical development of the peoples of the East from ancient times to the middle of the twentieth century.
- Cultural heritage and literature of the peoples of the East.
- Comprehensive field and archaeological research of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the East.
