Social archaeology; social anthropology of early societies; steppe zone of Eastern Europe in antiquity and the early Middle Ages; Barbaricum of the Roman period and the era of the Great Migration of Peoples; early Nomads; Sarmatian archeology; social history of the Sarmatians; Tamgi; Bosporan Kingdom; spiritual culture and religious and mythological representations of ancient societies; images of space in traditional cultures; Khazar Khaganate; archeology and paleogenetics.

Education

2000 - graduated from Rostov State University, Faculty of History. Specialty "Historian. A history teacher".
2003 - completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of History of the Rostov State University (General History and Archaeology).
2005 - defended PhD thesis at Voronezh State University, specializing in Archeology. The topic of the dissertation is "Migration of the Sarmatians to the Middle Danube region (according to archeology and ancient tradition)".
Scientific degree - Doctor of Historical Sciences, dissertation defended in 2023 at the Russian State University for the Humanities on the topic: "Social history of the nomadic population of the Lower Don region of the Sarmatian epoch (II century BC - IV century AD)" (General History).
