Биография

Окончил факультет теоретической и прикладной лингвистики РГГУ в 1996 году. Сдал экзамены на степень магистра ближневосточных исследований Калифорнийского университета в Беркли в 1999 году. В 2008 году защитил в Восточном институте Университета Чикаго диссертацию на соискание степени Ph.D. по теме «Sociolinguistics of the Luwian Language». В 2009 году защитил в РГГУ кандидатскую диссертацию по теме «Проблемы согдийской этимологии». Проходил научные стажировки в Берлинско-бранденбургской академии наук, Оксфордском и Марбургском университетах. 1972 г.р.


Лингвист и филолог, специалист по сравнительно-исторической грамматике индоевропейских языков, палеосоциолингвистике, анатолийской и иранской филологии. Автор более 100 работ по лингвистике, в том числе двух монографий. Считает себя членом Московской компаративистической школы.
В институте востоковедения РАН работает по совместительству с осени 2010 года.
