Round Table "To the Foundations of the Study Methodology of Traditional Communities of the East"

 
A regular event of the laboratory "Religion and Society in the East" was held on the 19th of November, 2021 (https://ivran.ru/religion). It was called "To the Foundations of the Study Methodology of Traditional Communities of the East".

The round table has been taking place within the walls of the Institute of Oriental Studies (the Russian Academy of Sciences) since the year 2017, it raises the issues of development and civilizational shifts in the Eastern societies.

This time, the central topic of the event was the system of values ​​that undergoes various factors influence in globalizing societies. 

Aspects of this subject  were present in the discussion participants' speeches and  in the report of  A.Yakovlev, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor: “Value-Based Orientations of Plans for the Socio-Economic Development of the Arabia Oil Monarchies in the 21st Century”.
