The 9th Conference The 9th Conference "Issues and Achievements of Extended Education in Eurasian Space"

 
I.N. Serenko, the senior researcher of the Information and Communication Center of the Near and Middle East Study Center of the Institute of Oriental Studies (the Russian Academy of Sciences) took part in the 9th international scientific and practical conference "Issues and Achievements of Extended Education in Eurasian Space". The event was conducted on the 14th-19th of July, 2021 in Kyrgyzstan.

The international ethno-carnival "Issyk-Kul Gathers Friends" took place from the 14th till the 19th of July 2021 at the international children's sports and recreation complex “Barchyn” on the shores of the lake Issik-Kul. The carnival was conducted within the framework of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Republic Independence. About 400 children from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and various regions of Kyrgyzstan took part in the fiesta. 

The academic circles' representatives of the Eurasian Economic Union countries acted as jury members of numerous creative competitions for young talents. They also took an active part in the session of the Eurasian Association of Extended Education for Children, various master classes, as well as in the 9th international scientific and practical conference "Issues and Achievements of Extended Education in Eurasian Space".

The conference was conducted under the authority of the Education and Science Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kyrgyz Academy of Education. The official opening, plenary, and breakout sessions of this conference were held on the 18th of July, 2021 in Issyk-Kul, at the residence of the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. 

I.N. Serenko, the senior researcher of the Institute of Oriental Studies, made a report at this conference. The title of the report was “Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Pakistan in the Vector of Eurasian Educational integration”. An article, based on this report, was published in a special issue of the "Newsletter of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaeva"(Bishkek, 2021).

I.N. Serenko made a proposal for the resolution of this conference. She suggested creating on the basis of Bishkek a platform for humanitarian cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union countries. Ms. Serenko offered taking into account the great work and experience of Kyrgyzstan in the formation of a common Eurasian identity and educational structure. These actions would further establish mutual understanding between its members and those interested in cooperation with the Eurasian states, promote effectively the Strategy 2025 put forward by the Eurasian Economic Union, for bringing the countries of the vast Eurasian space closer to achieve its sustainable development and peace in the area of ​​a unified Eurasia.
