Anastasia Lulina’s Lecture “Internet Censorship in Modern China”

 
The lecture hall "The World of the East" continues to work in full-time mode.

Lecturer:
Anastasia Lyulina, Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor of the Foreign Languages Department, Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty of People’s Friendship University of Russia; Research Fellow of History and Culture of the Ancient East Department of the Institute of Oriental Studies (Russian Academy of Sciences).

Annotation:
The lecture will be on the features, cultural origins, and modern issues of media information control in the Internet space of the People’s Republic of China.

The lecturer will touch upon the actual topic of the fight against "anti-historical research" and the issue of "soft" selective censorship.

The lecture hall "World of the East" invites everyone to join its work.

Meetings are held once a month, every third Thursday, beginning at 4:00 pm, at:
Moscow, st. Rozhdestvenka, house 12, Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (metro station "Kuznetsky Most"), room 222. Admission is free.
